My story with afghans started around 2000 with me helping Ewa Backman showing her afghanhounds. Shortly after I got my first Afghan that I part owned with Eva.
I have always had a great love for Afghans and even if I for a period of time took a step back I was still following this wonderful breed and my interest never faded.
I started my kennel, Gollewoogs, in 2008 and have until today had one litter of Whippets and three litters of Lhasa Apso. Now I am over the moon to have returned to this amazing breed and looking forward to living with Afghans again and hopefully even breed some nice afghan puppies together with Sofia
The year was 1991, I was 19 years old and I got my first afghan hound from Christina Roseen, kennel Khaos. I fell in love with the breed and the years that followed I owned and loved 6 dogs from Christina that I showed and competed in Lure coursing with. One of these dogs was Khaos Zingoalla, the mother of Vindaloo’s first litter born in 2010 and that's when the story of Vindaloo afghan hounds started. Since then I only had one litter after my French import from Menuel Galopin. Mattias joined me in the kennel in 2021 and I can't wait to see what the future holds for us!
When I got to know Sofia around 2008 she introduced me to the amazing breed of afghan hounds. Today I own two of my own.
I photograph alot and you'll se many of my pictures around the website aswell as digital work like ads & stuff.
When Sofia & Mattias asked me to be webmaster I felt honourd to be a part of their team and work with such ambitious, inspiering people.
